Rules management in the ideal system
Business rules are predicates that apply to data to help implement real-world decisions made that are necessary for the business. For example, you may state that a customer cannot be sent a product so long as they have not checked their bank coordinates. This is a business rule as it can be expressed without any signs of software implementation: this could be done manually by someone in the plant checking with accounting via phone that the rule has been respected via p before sending the package to the customer.

If data is the blood of the information system, business rules are its nervous and muscular networks: they use the blood to realize some activities in a given way.
