Retrieving data from other sources

As mentioned before in this chapter, Power Automate provides a large number of connectors from both Microsoft as well as other third parties. Going to the Power Automate editor and selecting Connectors from the side navigation, we are presented with a list, as seen in the following screenshot:

You can use the search function to look for a connector to the application you want to retrieve data from. You will find two types of connectors available:

  • Regular connectors: Connectors you can leverage with a standard Microsoft 365 license
  • Premium connectors: Connectors available with a specific license, at an additional cost

If the application you want to interact with does not have a connector already available, you can create your own connectors. You can have these available only within your organization, or you can publish them to make them available to a wider audience...
