Installing device packages

Installing a device package from the GUI is very simple.

How to do it...

1. From the L4-L7 Services menu, click on Packages:

2. The Quick Start menu gives us one option: Import a Device Package.

3. Click on this link to bring up the file open dialog box:

4. Click on BROWSE... and select the zipped package file you want to import. Do not extract the files.

5. Click on SUBMIT. You will see another message briefly appear as the file is uploaded to the APIC.

How it works...

If we look at L4-L7 Service Device Types, we can see the newly added device package.
