Go-live preparation
Now that we have completed all the other phases of the project, testing has been completed, and we all agree that the project is ready for deployment, we now start the go-live phase. Here, we develop a detailed go-live plan that outlines the sequence of activities and tasks required to transition from the current system to Microsoft Dynamics. Consider factors such as data freezing, the cutover strategy, downtime minimization, and contingency plans. Also, we need to submit our go-live plans to Microsoft for its approval. This approval is the kick-off of getting the production environments created. Microsoft will use the gold image that you have created after all your project work to create the production environments.
