Business Services and Access Services
Business Services provide the coarse-grained business functions that have a meaningful significance to the enterprise. These coarse-grained services may leverage one more business or Access Service. Access Services provide the bridging capabilities between the Business Services interfaces and the end application interface through the ESB. These capabilities, as explained in the previous chapter, include adapters, mediation flows, and process flows. In this section, we will provide a visualization of the business and Access Service layers. For each Business Service, we will also provide details about purpose, interface, implementation details, and Access Services associated with them.
