Protecting your iPhone
Since an iPhone can contain important information and private messages and photographs, you don't want anyone to use your iPhone without your permission. To block access to your iPhone, you need to set up one or more of the following:
- Passcode: Requires typing a six-digit number
- Touch ID: Requires your fingerprint
- Face ID: Requires recognizing your face
Remember, not all iPhone models offer all three forms of access control. Some iPhones only offer passcodes and Touch ID, while others may only offer passcodes and Face ID. Whatever iPhone model you might have, use two forms of access control, such as a passcode and Face ID. Since every iPhone offers passcodes, make sure you set a good passcode as soon as possible.
