Tyler: Hey, Yuichiro, so great to do this with you! Do you want to get started by introducing yourself to everyone? Talk a bit about your background.
Yuichiro: OK, so I am Yuichiro Tachibana and I am currently in Japan. I’m also a member of the Streamlit Creators program and am developing and maintaining some Streamlit libraries. My personal OSS projects are hosted on GitHub!
As far as my background, I studied computer vision and applications of machine learning at my university. I worked with people who built robots, and software was necessary to help build robotic intelligence, especially in computer vision. This is why my knowledge of computer vision and machine learning is more practical than theoretical.
