Exam objectives – Business Logic and Process Automation

To complete the Business Logic and Process Automation section of the Certified Platform App Builder exam, app builders are expected to be able to carry out the following:

3. Describe the capabilities of, use cases for, and implications of roll-up summary fields.
4. Describe the capabilities of and use cases for validation rules.
5. Describe the capabilities of and use cases for approval processes.
6. Describe the capabilities of and use cases for workflows, Flow, and Process Builder.
7. Given a set of business requirements, recommend a solution to automate business processes.
8. Describe the ramifications of field updates and the potential for recursion.
