This a comprehensive but easy to read exploration into some of the most complex technology subject matters. For novice and expert alike, this book offers so much. The exploration into business applications and the use cases that prove the need for this technology, is both practical and rewarding. And it’s something I feel will have an evergreen nature to it.

Many business leaders and software developers have heard about Quantum Computing and Blockchain, but not many understand what applications could be built and how these technologies could be used to explorer new business opportunities in Healthcare, Financial Services, Logistics, Climate and Elections.The "Quantum Computing and Blockchain in Business" gives a very good explanation of these two technologies in easy to understand language. The book includes many charts, graphs and images which help the reader to better understand the concepts being described. A nice touch is the link to download the colour images.The font size used is very readable which puts less strain on your eyes. If you are an old fashioned like me I prefer the physical, paper book instead of a tablet.There aren't many books written on the subject and I would recommend "Quantum Computing & Blockchain in Business" to anybody who would like to learn more about Quantum Computing and Blockchain.

This books explains very well what Blockchain and Quantum are and their main applications in businesses, as well as interviews with experts in both technologies. I liked that it connects what the technologies are with their projected use cases in a realistic manner, knowing that these are emergent technologies and there is always a tendency to create a hype. Points extra for treating this subject from a humble, realistic perspective. Great book!

Blockchain and quantum computing are poised to have significant impact across a host of industries. If you are a business leader, if you are an armchair futurist or technologist, or even if you are a science fiction writer who wants to get the science right, you should read this book. Not only does it go beyond the hype, it provides a solid historical perspective to help put these technologies in context. It also provides a sound technical explanation which does not require a PhD in physics to understand.In my role as a healthcare leader, I need to understand the technologies that are going to change our business. As a citizen of the world, it is also useful to understand the changes that may be occurring in other industries.For those that also are interested in how the world might change in the next decade or two, the digitization of our lives which has already been occurring lends itself well to the simultaneous advances in artificial intelligence/machine learning, blockchain, and quantum computing. This book provides a peek into what that future might look like.
