We learnt the decision making that is involved in designing the XenDesktop in general, and we also saw the deployment designs of the complex environments involving the cloud capabilities. This understanding will help you in appreciating the existing XenDesktop deployments. It will also enable you to easily identify the short falls of a given XenDesktop environment. You shall be able to build the XenDesktop deployments in the Cloud infrastructures based on the Citrix CloudPlatform as well as the industry leading Amazon Web Services EC2 infrastructures.

In the next chapter, we'll learn how to deploy XenDesktop, including both the core and the additional components, followed by its configuration. We will also discuss the verification process of the deployment.
