In this chapter, we covered OpenShift core concepts such as pods, services, routes, projects, and users. We are going to work with these topics in detail in the following chapters and work closely with these resources to show you how they are integrated with other OpenShift resources.
In the next chapter, we are going take a look at advanced OpenShift resources, including source to image and image streams, builds and build configs, deployments, and deployment configs, as well as config maps and templates. We are also going to create some of these resources using manual methods with YAML and JSON files.
