Building Ethereum Wallets

We briefly introduced bitcoin and Ethereum wallets in Chapter 1, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency and Chapter 2, Ethereum Architecture and Ecosystem. In this chapter, we will get an overview of Ethereum wallets and learn how to create an Ethereum wallet. We will also look at how to create a non-deterministic wallet. When we have a sound understanding of Ethereum wallets, we will create a Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) wallet. We will also discuss the popular third-party Ethereum wallets.
