Transportation requirements and sales order processing

The sales orders and deliveries that are created in SAP ERP are transferred to SAP TMS to facilitate the process of transportation planning and execution. The sales order in SAP ERP is transferred to SAP TMS, which creates an OTR document. A freight unit is created from the OTR and even more transportation planning is executed, thus creating the freight order. The orders and deliveries in SAP TMS are represented as the transportation requirements. The following diagram shows the steps required to activate the order and delivery integration from SAP ERP to SAP TMS:
