In this chapter, we learned the most important concepts related to AD DS. We learned about logical and physical components and their functions, which tools can be used to manage AD DS, and what's new in Windows Server 2016 AD DS. We also learned how to create a new forest, how to add a new domain in an existing forest, and what RODC is and how to install it. Along with this, we covered user, group, and computer management, so you should now be able to create and manage AD DS objects.
In the next chapter, we'll cover advanced AD DS management, including AD DS Forests, AD DS Sites and Replication, and AD DS Security.
