Summary

Initially we looked at an introduction to the software development process in general. Then we discussed the advantages of Rational Team Concert by seamlessly integrating the coding, issue management, source control, release management, and build management. We saw the power of the Process templates and an overview of the templates that are available.

In this chapter, we have used the Scrum process for the BookManager application. We did a deep dive into the Scrum development and integrated support from Rational Team Concert. We have seen how team members and Scrum Masters can leverage various features and reports.

Finally, we have seen an in-depth approach to Release management. We have looked at the project and iteration plans and then configured the release schedules.
