Summary
When working on a test architecture plan, you must consider every test that could be helpful for your system. Not all systems are the same or have the same needs. In Chapter 1, Introduction – Finding Your QA Level, we covered how to discover the needs of our system. In this chapter, we covered some of the main tests the systems should have, as seen from the top of the pyramid to the bottom. Imagine us pouring water down the pyramid and making sure we cover all the potential gaps throughout the pyramid. We also provided some extra tips and projects you could use to improve your quality at the top of the test pyramid.
In the next part of this book, which covers Chapter 5, Testing Automation Patterns, to Chapter 7, Mathematics and Algorithms in Testing, we will provide more useful tips and projects to help you improve your test architecture and career. The next part of this book will build on top of this section. The next chapter will talk about testing automation patterns...
