1. Why did Facebook move away from the classic MVC architecture?
   Answer: Facebook identified issues with MVC experienced when working with the kind of large scale necessary for Facebook. In the frontend application, views and models were tightly coupled. Bidirectional dataflow made it even worse: it was hard to debug how the data transitioned between models and views and which parts were responsible for the end state.
