Most practitioners in the world of software development are used to the ideals behind agile methodologies. There are dozens of agile frameworks designed to help you manage software, or really, any project with the aim of creating some useful product. One thing they consistently have in common is the idea of iterative development. The development effort is broken down into smaller, simpler tasks called an iteration.
