Setting OKRs or KPIs
OKR is a collaborative goal-setting framework used by teams to set transformative goals with measurable results. OKRs are used to track the progress teams are making toward the goal and align and encourage them to achieve the objective. The OKR methodology was created by Andy Grove at Intel. Let’s look at some OKR examples next.

When you design the OKRs for your organization, keep in mind that they must be credible, sustainable, and controllable. If the teams do not trust the OKRs, then the OKRs defined by the FinOps teams are not going to achieve the expected results. You create credibility by making things transparent. Each team should have access to the data that makes up the OKRs. OKRs need to be tracked quarterly or semi-annually:
