Summary
In this chapter, we discussed the main principles and declarations of an SDDC. It provided an overview of the opportunities and possibilities this new data center architecture provides. Also, it covered the changes which will be introduced by this new approach. Finally, it discussed the implementation journey and its involvement with people, processes, and technology.
In the next chapter, we will dive deep into identifying tasks and processes for automation within the data center. It will discuss in more detail what level of automation an SDDC requires and why standardization is very important for automated services deployment.
