Warehouse management app and device setup

Dynamics 365 has an application to control the warehouse management process that we could download. It’s called Supply Chain Management – Warehousing, and it can be downloaded on Google Play Store, Windows Store, and App Store. It is a standalone component, so we could easily download it on the device that’s used for warehouse tasks.

The requirements are Android 4.4 or later, Windows 10 (UWP) October 2018 update 1809 or later, or iOS 13.0 or later, and once downloaded and installed, it is mandatory to configure it so that it can connect to an environment. If we set it up for a sandbox environment, we need to change its settings so that it points to a production environment later in the implementation.

1. Create a web service application in Azure Active Directory (AAD).
