Saving and Applying RTAS Effect Templates
If you'd like to save a particular RTAS effect for later use, or if you want to save a particular combination of settings before experimenting with alternate adjustments, you can save a template of the effect.
How to do it…
There are two methods available to save an RTAS Effect Template. The first method utilizes the RTAS Tool.

Once you're over a bin, you'll see that your arrow cursor icon has changed to a hand icon. You can now release the mouse button to drop the Effect Template into the bin.
The Template can be applied directly from the bin using the same methods discussed above in the There's more... section of the Applying RTAS Plug-ins from the Effect Palette recipe.
