The Instructor Guide
The Instructor Guide consists of the same five parts as the Student Guide. However, the Instructor Guide has additional information to each of the parts.
When developing the Instructor Guide, start with a copy of the Student Guide and add the information below.
Table of Contents
In addition to a table of contents, generate a table of the units and their learning objectives. The instructor should be able to look in the beginning of the Guide and see all of the learning objectives.
Most word processors use paragraph styles to generate a table of contents. In a similar way, you can use paragraph styles to generate a table of learning objectives. Check the online help for your word processor under indexes and tables.
Introduction
The introduction contains all of the information that a student needs to decide whether to attend the course. You can copy and paste this information into your public announcement of the class.
