How to vectorize a Bitmap image
Vectorizing a Bitmap feature is an amazing feature that I mentioned at the beginning of the chapter and is one that usually comes with vector-based programs, such as Illustrator and CorelDRAW. To be able to trace an image such as a logo, line drawing, or one with flat colors depends on how well the image displays can be traced quickly in Photopea. You can save hours of time trying to retrace an image with the Pen tool.
Remember that we covered the basics of vector-based images in Chapter 1, Taking Your Design and Editing to the Next Level with Photopea. We know that vector images and graphics can be infinitely scaled up or down, they are usually smaller file sizes than hi-res raster files and are best for spot colors, logos, technical drawings, 3D and 2D animation, specialty printing, embroidery, color separations, and CAD drawing.
