Exploring the possibilities of AI, IoT, and robotics

The platform of communities and systems that we foresee are using a combination of different technologies. In fact, no single technology will be a game-changer on its own. They have to be integrated, as demonstrated in the following figure:

However, IoT, AI, and robotics do bring more traditional technologies together to perform far more than each technology could on its own. Interoperability and Integration (I&I) are keys that we will address in Chapter 3, Unfolding the Complexity of Transformation.

We will keep that in mind in the following exploration of the three selected technologies, along with the fact that there are far more technologies that are used in healthcare.
