The Seven C’s

The seven C’s are where you should begin if you are thinking about your data for the first time. In other words, before you can consider how to apply HR analytics, you should understand what you have first. The formulas shared are merely examples of ways to measure each of the seven C’s. The idea here is that you go into learning about your data with a game plan. The seven C’s provide that initial game plan.

NOTE: there is an eighth “C” related to data, but it is not necessarily part of measuring data quality. The eighth “C” is Consent, and it is important to consider how much you want your employees to know about what you are doing with their data.
