Time for action—Replacing selected icons

The icons that are quite dominant in the user's browser are:

• cart.gif

• contact.gif

• my-account.gif

• search.gif

• sitemap.gif

• star.gif

Let's see an example of how to replace the contact.gif icon:

1. The icon to be used is 24x24 px, as shown in the following image and name it the same as your contact.gif:

   

2. Upload this file to your theme's icon folder /themes/theme1/img/icon and overwrite the existing contact.gif file.

3. Preview the changes in your browser.

   

4. This is it. If you don't see it, it is most likely because you have not changed your setting to the new theme in the back office. Go back to Preference | Appearance and choose the theme1 under the radio button option in Themes.
