Creating a new .NET MAUI Blazor project

To learn how to develop a Blazor Hybrid app, we need to upgrade our PassXYZ.Vault project to accommodate a Blazor-based UI. Fortunately, we don’t need to start from scratch – we can simply modify our existing project to support the Blazor UI. By doing this, we can efficiently build both an XAML-based app and a Hybrid app within the same project. Before incorporating the Blazor UI into our app, let’s first establish a new .NET MAUI Blazor project with an identical app name. This will allow us to reference the new project when converting our current project into a .NET MAUI Blazor project.

We have the option to create this new .NET MAUI Blazor project either through the command line or via Visual Studio. We will demonstrate both methods in this section.
