Observability stack options
This book uses the following observability pipeline architecture, introduced in Chapter 4, as a general reference. These are the components that a modern observability solution should be able to implement, so we will use them to analyze other options rather than the ones already presented in the book:

When looking at the options, there are many things to consider. Gaining knowledge and some basic experience with each is beneficial to be able to make an informed decision and path forward for your pipeline. Let’s dive into a few of the options within the observability pipeline.
