After choosing to migrate to SharePoint Online, one of the first steps in building a migration strategy is to identify what data needs to be migrated. This can include the following:
- Group- or team-networked file shares on file servers or network-attached storage
- SharePoint Server document libraries and lists
- SharePoint Server applications
- SharePoint Server workflows
- InfoPath forms
- Intranet content
