Summary
In this chapter, we learned that all good business begins with sales! Although many terms differ from firm to firm, the foundations are the same. Clients bring in new projects, which result in a monetary reward for the firm and great projects for team members.
We worked through the Lead to Opportunity workflow and walked through the business process flow. We then turned Opportunity Lines into a Quote and generated a PDF that saved to the timeline.
We also learned the best ways to integrate Teams and SharePoint links for Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Orders, and more.
As we enter Chapter 5, Project Contracts and Pricing, we will get deep into contract creation, pricing, and building out project structures as though we are project architects.
