Phishing – a danger both inbound and outbound
Phishing, a social engineering technique we are seeing more and more in the news, targets individuals and organizations to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information. It is proving to be a formidable threat in the digital age. This method of attack is perilous not only due to the inbound messages that unsuspecting recipients might interact with—tricking them into divulging passwords, credit card numbers, or other private data—but also due to the peril of outbound messages.
