Summary

In this chapter, we wanted to convey to you a little bit of our years of experience implementing portal projects utilizing Web Experience Factory as a Rapid Application Development tool.

We know that there is no substitute for experience. In this sense, you will have to gain your own experience and grow in knowledge and confidence as you work more extensively with WEF. However, it is our deepest hope that the few topics we have discussed here will enable you to take the right decisions early in the project and lead it to complete success.

We have a strong conviction that if you observe and follow the guidelines and approaches defined in this chapter, you will have better chance to succeed in your portal project regardless of the magnitude of your project.

This chapter also marks the end of the WEF chapters. By choice we have not covered every nuance of WEF. This task cannot be accomplished in one single book, let alone in only nine chapters. However, we have made a choice of covering...
