Summary
In this chapter, we discussed cloud modernization at length. We covered the fundamentals of modernization along with its different steps. We learned different approaches to executing modernization on hybrid or multi-cloud platforms. We learned about the mindsets of business decision-makers (CTO, CIO, and other CxO), solution architects, and developers, and the modernization priorities.
As we get familiar with the fundamental concepts of cloud modernization and migration, we also need to know the best practices for the cloud journey. In the next chapter, we will discuss some best practices for successful cloud adoption.
