Configuring Load Balancing
In the previous chapter, you learned about network security and explored topics such as Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, and Azure Bastion. This chapter focuses on Azure public and internal load-balancing by using Azure Load Balancer, Azure Application Gateway, and Azure Front Door to provide High Availability (HA) for backend computing resources, such as Azure virtual machines, or managed Platform as a Service (PaaS) services, such as App Service, Azure Kubernetes, and Container Apps. You will also learn how to create health probes for your load balancers and configure load-balancing rules. You will then learn how to troubleshoot these load- balancing services. Finally, you will touch on Azure Front Door services for global load-balancing capabilities. The skills you will gain in this chapter are relevant to the exam and your daily role as an Azure administrator, particularly when building solutions for critical workloads such as websites...
