Mini Robot Rover chassis kit


The Mini Robot Rover chassis kit (Figure 7.1) gives you everything you need to build the chassis of a 2-wheel-drive Robot Rover. The kit comes with the following components and requires assembly to build the complete chassis:

  • 2 x wheels
  • 2 x DC motors in MicroServo shape
  • 1 x support wheel
  • 1 x metal chassis
  • 1 x top metal plate with mounting hardware

Assembling the chassis

The following instructions will guide you on how to assemble the Mini Robot Rover chassis with the supplied components:

  • Flip over the metal chassis and attach the two DC motors with the screws. Make sure that the wires of the DC motors are facing toward the front of the chassis.
  • Attach the support wheel (caster wheel) to the front of the chassis with screws. The front side of the chassis has four holes that you can use to attach the caster wheel.
