Working with Messages and Announcements
In previous chapters, you experimented with many of the features of Adobe Learning Manager. Along the way, you noticed that ALM sends a lot of email messages to learners. These messages are designed to keep learners engaged in their learning process and to bring them back to the LMS as often as possible.
Let’s also be realistic! While we, as instructional designers, all dream of a world where learners learn on their own and naturally engage with the content we give them access to, we must recognize that in the real world, most workers receive their assignments and training requirements in their mailbox or via messages on their phone. In short, messaging is critical to the success of any LMS deployment.
