Summary

In this chapter, we discussed the importance of innovation and how enterprises can lead, disrupt, and innovate with emerging technologies in the cloud space. We explored the various kinds of innovation labs that organizations can leverage to build their innovation CoEs. We also explored the three pillars of an innovation center that serve as guiding principles to ensure innovation centers can deliver consistent long-term value to the business.

We then discussed how the convergence of cloud-native big data and serverless technologies plays a central role in modernizing the application and data ecosystem for enterprises across industry verticals. Finally, we explored the role of various emerging technologies such as AI, GenAI, XR, blockchain, and quantum computing in the context of industries and how enterprises can innovate responsibly in the cloud.
