Summary

In this chapter, we have seen the common reasons for considering an upgrade – capacity, capabilities, and control. We have seen how capacity is limited when using Dataverse for Teams and how some of the capabilities of standard Dataverse, such as the ability to run the apps, bots, and flows outside of Teams, could make you want to upgrade to it. We also learned about the upgrade process and saw each of the steps involved in it. Finally, we were able to see how license restrictions are enforced after the upgrade.

In the next chapter, we will look at security and governance, which are of paramount importance for every organization.
