We often have to deal with data that is less than pristine. For example, we may encounter a multi-value text column in which we are not able to easily split the information out because the multiple values within the column are in a random order and of varying length. This recipe demonstrates how to use the text-parsing functions within DAX to extract information from such complex strings.
