Chapter 5. Creating the Business Layer
In the previous chapters, we learned how to create a data connection and Data Foundation. In this chapter, we will learn how to create a Business layer on top of the NorthWind Data Foundation layer. The Business layer is the most important resource in our Universe project. This is because it is shared with end users so that they can access and interact with this layer. You can think about this layer as if it is our final delivery product. If it is well designed and developed, end users will use and adopt it; otherwise, they will ignore it. This is why the Business layer should be user friendly and business oriented. Remember that the main idea of the entire Universe is to segregate between complex technical contents and business terminologies, by providing information to the end users in an easy way.
