Summary
During this chapter, we learned how to configure and work with quotations and sales orders; we reviewed the entire end-to-end O2C process from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply chain management. Also, we reviewed the delivery control methods and the list of possibilities that the system offers us to provide our customers with excellent service and quality during the selling process. We also covered the importance of confirmed dates and the process that follows after we confirm the sales order with our customers.
Also, we reviewed the capabilities of Dynamics 365 supply chain management to manage the commission calculations and the flexibility that it offers to create custom rules. Finally, we had a quick overview of how to work with intercompany sales orders that simplify the process between linked companies.
