Learning more about property set definitions
Automatic and Formula present opportunities to automate the mapping of metadata and automatically fill in values associated with these types of definitions. Manual property set definitions offer opportunities to manually as well as automatically fill in values, depending on the values you wish to assign.
Within the Manual property set definition, we have the following options available to us:
- Auto Increment – Character: Automatically sets an alpha value based on the order in which the root property set is assigned to objects
- Auto Increment – Integer: Automatically sets a number value based on the order in which the root property set is assigned to objects
- Integer: Manually enter a whole number (no decimal placement capabilities)
