Chapter 5. Customizing Elements with CSS

In this chapter, we will change the look and feel of our Moodle course, focusing on sizing images and changing colors and fonts, among other things. We will be customizing the elements with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

In order to work with CSS, we will work with both online and offline text editors before making the changes in Moodle on-premise, so as to check how the element changes before making it definite. In this chapter, we will further our knowledge in CSS a little more and learn what we can do with it in order to change the look and feel of Moodle on-premises.

CSS is used to apply styles to the elements in order to change certain attributes of those elements. In this way, we can improve the look and feel in order to make it more attractive.

Text editors are a great tool to bear in mind when changing the look and feel of the Moodle course, since we are making the changes, and at the same time, checking how they look before working...
