In this chapter, we went over all of the components of the Office 365 administration portal, demonstrating what you can do with these components, and, in many cases, why you would want to use them. We drilled down into the detailed functionality of the most commonly used components. We also briefly touched on the various other administration centers that one can access via this portal, and listed the chapters in which you can expect to find more detailed information about those specific portals.
One thing that we have not done is discuss performing administrative tasks with PowerShell. Many of the functions that can be performed on this portal can also be done in PowerShell. A detailed description of how to use PowerShell to administer every possible Office 365 function is outside the scope of this book, but the next chapter will explain how to connect to Office 365 using PowerShell, and will give a general overview of the functionality that PowerShell covers.
