Use the following steps to create the necessary custom states:
- Use the Filmstrip to go to slide 5 of the Chapter05/takeTheTrain.cptx project.
- Select the map of Belgium image.
- At the top of the Properties inspector, give the selected image the following name: img_belgium. Don't forget to hit the Enter key to confirm the new name.
Captivate allows you to name any object. Naming objects this way is not technically required, but it is a best practice and will make it much simpler later in the process.
- With the map of Belgium image still selected, click the State View button in the upper section of the Properties inspector.
This action takes you to the State View of the selected image. Notice that Captivate has not created any default built-in states. Only some Interactive objects (such as Buttons) have built-in states. You will now add five custom states to your image, one for each blue dot, using the following steps.
