Database service templates
Oracle Enterprise Manager offers a very useful feature to further automate the commonly repeated provisioning workflow. Let's say your organization has a software engineering department that provisions databases based on a set of project requirements. They have a fixed set of database structures, schemas, and configuration settings that they need to provision quite frequently. If this is a repeated workflow, it becomes tedious to create database instances with the exact same configuration every time a new provisioning request comes to the admin.
You can create database provisioning profiles to combine all of the necessary configuration and schema information to provision the database into a logical entity. You can use this profile to create service templates.
