Getting an overview of Azure Arc enabled SQL Managed Instance

Azure Arc enabled SQL Managed Instance leverages an Azure Arc data controller solution to deploy, host, and manage Azure SQL Database Managed Instances on Kubernetes clusters running anywhere, including on-premises and on other cloud platforms.

Azure SQL Managed Instance includes management capabilities such as automatic high availability (HA), monitoring, security, and other capabilities to reduce the management overhead of running an on-prem SQL Server infrastructure.
