Introduction
Gephi has been used by researchers for exploring all sorts of networks. These networks range from social networks, biological networks, infrastructure domain networks, and so on. Apart from having domain-specific differences, these networks also differ in their size and structure. Social networks, for instance, are usually very large in size, whereas biological networks are considerably smaller, with different sorts of interactions. In this chapter, we are going to explore some of these networks in Gephi. We are also going to learn how to fetch data from different sources: MySQL databases, Neo4j databases, and NodeXL.
