Configuring a recovery plan
A recovery plan is a feature that lets you identify and define a collection of virtual machines that all deliver an application. This recovery plan can then be used to fail over all components of the application at the same time or selectively bring them back up in a failover or failover test. It also allows for additional automation steps to be completed as part of the orchestrated recovery process.
Things to consider when creating a recovery plan primarily based on the hosted virtual machines within the intended plan are shown in Table 11.1:
